Devizes Bee and Honey Day Returns This October
The world of bees and honey will be celebrated this autumn at the annual Bee and Honey Day, hosted by the Wiltshire Beekeepers Association at the Corn Exchange in Devizes, Wiltshire, on Saturday, October 11.
This free community event brings together families, local producers, and beekeeping enthusiasts to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators in our environment. There will be hands-on activities for children, including face painting and candle rolling, and a chance for them to learn more about the natural world.
Families can discover a wide range of bee-related products and experiences, including a marketplace with crafts and locally produced goods, free talks from expert beekeepers, and competition entries for jars of honey, bottles of mead and beeswax candles.
As champions of biodiversity, we’re delighted to sponsor an event that inspires future generations of beekeepers and raises awareness of the importance of pollinators. Our solar farms are designed to create habitats where pollinators can thrive in addition to generating clean electricity and supporting farming. Sponsoring Bee and Honey Day is an easy extension of our mission.
Come along between 10 am and 4 pm to discover the world of bees. You might be surprised by what you find!
