The Solar farm Debate explores the different viewpoints towards a local solar farm and renewable energy and their impact on the local community. Children will spend time understanding different arguments and begin to frame a discussion/ debate putting forward different views.

Students will spend time understanding different arguments and use their knowledge to plan and write a balanced piece presenting the pros and cons of building a solar farm. They will be presenting arguments and points that have already been discussed in class or at a solar farm visit.
